our story

..the world rested on a shaky foundation of insatiable consumption and unbridled pollution. But there were visionaries who saw a better way. They believed in a future where meaningful products no longer focused on short-term profit, but on sustainability and responsibility to the blue planet.
These visionaries created well-shaped and meaningful products that were not only beautiful and functional, but also relied on durable materials and resource-efficient manufacturing processes. They developed business models that optimized the cycle of production, use and reuse. And they inspired others to follow them.

And so they founded a non-profit organization they called „42“ – a tribute to the universe and its infinite possibilities. Their goal was to make people aware of the need for sustainability while showing them that it can also be beautiful.
